STRAPS: wrap the strap around the tree, hold the loop open on the end with our logo, thread the other end of the strap through this loop, and pull tight. Now attach one of the carabiners to any of the other loops on the strap. Repeat this step using the other strap on a neighboring tree, and the other carabiner. HAMMOCK: The key to lying comfortably in a hammock is to hang the hammock with a deep sag (large hammocks like this one require a deep sag, 30 degree angle from the anchor point; smaller hammocks should have less sag) which stabilizes the occupant(s) and keeps a low center of gravity. To get in the lying position, spread the fabric apart and sit in the middle, swing your legs into the hammock, and finally position your feet right of center and your head left of center. With a hammock this size your body should form an approximate 30 degree angle from center (a 30 degree diagonal). You know you have the right angle if you are lying flat and not curved like a banana.
